How to read a pending or failed payout

Record the status exactly as shown, together with the request ID, amount and timestamp. Labels such as pending and processing do not establish whether an operator allows cancellation or correction.

An app wallet entry and a bank credit are different records. If an existing payment is unclear, ask the bank or payment provider about its transaction reference; do not infer a payment-rail failure solely from an app banner.

Verify the contact before sharing the minimum information needed for a request. Do not make a new payment to test a release promise, share an OTP or UPI PIN, or grant remote access.
